I am an experienced English teacher. I have worked with many children, teens, and adults. My passion is to help English learners become confident in speaking English so that they can have conversations with their neighbors, coworkers, and other English speakers. I specialize in 1-on-1 conversational classes that help intermediate speakers grow to advanced speakers, but I also love working with beginners!

My 1-on-1 classes are customized for each student. They are warm and relaxing where even the shyest person can have confidence to speak. We will be speaking in class like friends. :) Also, because I understand that not everyone can afford a lot for English classes, I made my own curriculum that includes written lessons, videos, live Zoom classes and daily homework designed for you to learn for a very affordable price! I am very excited about the group classes. You will learn a lot and for such a small price! Each unit includes a LOT of learning and I am thrilled (very excited) for you to be confident while you speak English.

English is my first language; I grew up in Canada, but now I live in the United States.  However, I know first-hand how challenging it is to learn another language. When I was an adult, I moved to another country and learned how to speak a new language. I was often frustrated that I couldn’t say what I wanted to say. I was nervous to join a conversation and it was difficult to be my true self. I realized the importance of speaking the country’s language and it gave me a heart and a deep passion to teach English so that English learners like you can be confident. English is not hard! You just need a good teacher!

 

I started my own online teaching business (English Daisy Tutoring) during COVID (2020). ​When I am not teaching, I spend time together with my husband and 4 kids. I love volunteering every weekend with the 4th and 5th graders at our church on Sundays. You'll also see me in the toddler's class and teaching an adult class on Wednesdays. In my spare time, I love putting together puzzles or baking something sweet.
